The Berkeley Emergency Response Team is located at 640 Pinewald-Keswick Road in Berkeley Township, Ocean County, New Jersey. Our team consists of about 50 volunteer members from all over the county affiliated with numerous different agencies. Our team provides hazardous materials, WMD, and emergency response, pre-planning, and education to all of Ocean County and anywhere else we are requested. B.E.R.T. was established in the mid-90's in the ressponse to an increase in hazardous materials incidents requiring a specialized unit to respond.
